This website is the product information site for Aperture Chat, a self-hosted enterprise AI workspace maintained through its public GitHub repository. This policy describes what this website does — and deliberately does not do — with visitor information.

What we collect

• Nothing you don't send us. This site is a static informational page. It has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no cookies set by us, and no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
• Standard server logs. Like nearly all websites, our web server records basic technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. Logs are used only to operate and protect the service and are not sold or shared.
• No direct-contact form. This site does not collect support, sales, or access requests. Project questions and contributions move through the linked GitHub repository under GitHub's own terms and privacy practices.

Preferences saved in your browser

The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember your appearance and motion preferences. The interactive guide also saves bookmarked topics, reading progress, your last-read topic, and checklist selections locally. This information is not sent to our server or an analytics service. Search queries are processed in your browser and are not saved.

Use “Reset reading progress” in the guide to clear read-topic checkmarks and the deployment checklist. Remove individual bookmarks with the Save button. Clearing this site’s browser data removes all saved preferences and guide progress.

Third-party resources

This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address and user agent as part of serving the font files. No other third-party resources are used.

The Aperture Chat software

The Aperture Chat platform is self-hosted by each operator on infrastructure they control. The public project does not centrally operate, access, or receive data from those independent deployments. Provider keys, chat content, documents, knowledge bases, and audit records remain the responsibility of the organization running each deployment.

Project communication and security

Use the Aperture Chat repository for project questions, documentation, issues, and contributions. Suspected vulnerabilities should not be posted as public issues; follow the repository's private security-reporting process.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised effective date.
